I was a pilot. Then the sky took the plane and handed me back a different life. The crash didn’t kill the flight. It changed the engine. I crawled out of the wreckage and started writing songs (also books long ago!).

Now I’m having the time of my life putting lyrics and music together. Every song is what I couldn’t say over the radio. Every hook is a second takeoff. I don’t write about flying because it sounds cool. I write because I already know what the ground feels like when it comes up too fast.

I’m Michael. I fly as Pilot Down... not because I never fell, but because I did, and I still chose the air.

If you see me with a suit on and mask, please laugh with me... those songs are meant to be crazy. Otherwise, I will sing raw. The runway is a blank page. The altitude is whatever the next verse can hold.
